The Elements

  • Classe with this element are designed to help you release. Stress, tension, thoughts. They are on the stronger side, include repetition and often some Cardio.

  • Classs with this Element will build long and lean muscles through repetition and training our muscles for endurance. They are inspired by Pilates and Barre and will build a steady burn and slow sweat.

  • Classes with this Element include quite moments, breathing exercises, lnger holds and slow movements. They incorporate techniques to calm your body, mind and soul and return to the present.

Each class contains the elements of Release, Refine and Relax. Some will focus on only one element, some will be a mixture of two or all.

I wanted to build a holistic and well-rounded movement routine where your mind, body and soul can find release through shaking, moving and sweating, refinement through holding, lengthening and strengthening, and relaxation through breath, stretches and meditation.

    A holistic approach starts with the mind. No workout schedule should ever stress your mind. We live in a world that already asks a lot of our brains. We offer options. Bite sized, longer, combinable so you can adjust your workout schedule to your life and not the other way around.

  • BODY

    Whether you crave a challenge, or feel the need to relax and lengthen your muscles. I got you. Ayo is a space where your body finds what it needs, which may be a push at times, but always a gentle one. Well rounded, with scheduled weekdays and weekends free to explore.

  • SOUL

    I hope to inspire you to change your lifestyle, not just your workout routine. Gently, consciously and with a lot of love for yourself. To arrive where your souls’ safe-space is a balanced life full of movement, activity, nature, nourishment and community that rarely feels forced.

Ayo is the call from yourself to yourself. A call for celebration of your mind, your body, your soul.

In this virtual space and community, I am offering room to do so.

As it does so often

It began with a pivotal life moment.

Life took an unexpected turn on me. I was crushed, felt my worse, had a difficult year. Or two. Throughout the first year and for many years before, I moved my body. As a way of therapy, release, but often also as a way of punishment. Did I know it back then? Probably not. Or maybe deep down I felt it, but my head believed that I was doing all the right things: Eating well, giving up guilty pleasures, moving often, spending time in nature. Little did I know how much I was doing too much.

It was when I finally crumbled, when I did not know how or where to go. When I struggled to move at all, and when I moved to Italy, the place where I spend my childhood summers that I truly found my way back to my body. And back to moving my body in a way that felt right. A way that gave me pleasure, moments for and by myself, that allowed me to FEEL not to NUMB. I won’t lie, feeling was difficult. But it also brought me back to me. And to what I consider my purpose: sharing this way of living, of moving, being active, healthy, full of pleasure and play. A way of life whereby the good feels effortless, incorporated and not like another stressor.

I created this platform to help you discover movement as a healer. To find safety in nourishing your body, to allow an active lifestyle to bring you back to yourself, your body, mind and to your roots in nature. Not to escape, but to feel it all.

Being part of this community will hopefully help you make movement part of your day, for weekends to stay free, and also free of guilt. To remain open for exploring. Your mind, body and soul. For you to become your own healer.
